their home ground. The team was formed in the year 2008 along with the inaugural

of the IPL</a> and owned by Red Chillies Entertainment which is the company of 
Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan including Juhi Chawla and Jai Mehta (Mehta Group) 
as partners. The team was initially captained by Sourav Ganguly but now is been 
Gautam Gambhir after retirement of Ganguly and it is coached by Trevor Bayliss. 
In in the IPL 2012 KKR came to the field with a lot of oomph and proved their 
abilities in the playground. They dodged opponents brilliantly and won the 
championship trophy in the end. Thus everyone is waiting for the champion team
