Delhi Daredevils is another IPL
team which is owned by GMR group. The Delhi Daredevils is been considered as
one of the most dangerous T20 side because of having world class players to
their side, but the team has not been to perform according to the expectations
and has not been able to win any IPL tournament. Despite having good players in
their squad they failed to deliver and had a disaster season last time winning
just one or two matches and were lying at the bottom of the table, although the
team has been able to qualify for the Champions League Twenty20 twice. So this
time the owners of the team DD decided to start from scratch, thus not retaining
any of their players which not even their captain Virender Sehwag. So this time in IPL 2014 Season 7 Delhi Daredevils is being captained
by Kevin Pietersen and coached by Gary Kristen.
The team is based in New Delhi and has its home ground Feroz Shah Kotla.
